2019 Debrief & Looking Ahead to 2020

What happened to 2019?

Here we are, starting a new year again. It boggles my mind to think of starting 2020. (though this is not new information) It seems like time moves faster and faster the older you are. 🙂

If I could describe 2019 in one word, I think I would go with growth. This past year, I saw growth in myself in several different areas. I saw my bride grow in her spiritual walk as well as in her journey as a mother. I saw our family grow because child number 4 was born in July (plus I got 2 new nephews). I saw each of my children grow and change in notable ways. I think the best way to communicate this is through pictures so…

The four of them.

Some work got done. Some dirt moving, home projects, and pulling wire at work.

We got skunked on our annual hunting trip, but lots of fun still. I got to introduce Dustin to it and he was a champ.

Which is Charlie? Which is Ben?

Looking ahead to 2020, I will be finishing school. That’s the next big thing for us and I’m not sure what else we will be doing but we are looking forward to God’s using us toward His will and excited to see what comes next.
