Later than I’d planned. Here we are, having come to the end of 2021, starting 2022. This last year was much like 2020 in that it was a year full of blessings for which we are thankful to our faithful Lord for, but also some trials. We are learning to trust Him with thankfulness in the blessings, and also in the trials. It has also helped us to be grounded not in our external circumstances, but in our faith in Jesus to lead us through.

My second to youngest brother got married this year. We had a good trip with family time, and a shooting trip with my dad and brothers for a bachelor’s party. Cam and Paige are a sweet couple and it was a lot of fun helping them get started as a couple. Got a fun picture of my grandparents dancing at the wedding too.
On the way back, we stopped at Black Rifle Coffee Headquarters in Salt Lake City. Mostly, I stopped and everyone else had to cuz I wanted to check it out.
Then, as a surprise, I flew back to CA for my youngest brother’s (Jared) graduation. I colluded with my brother Dylan and nobody else knew I was coming.

Got a little shop time in, even with soaring material prices. Made some really cool, low-profile floating shelves, a drill bit stand, and messed around with metal fabrication for organizing my tape measures. Had a little accident too, learning that I should always take my safety in the shop seriously. (4 stitches)
I made PVC bows that we stringed with paracord and did a little archery in the backyard. Everyone participated
